The calculator stays private
The TDEE calculator runs locally in an isolated browser frame. We do not receive, save, or add your age, weight, goal, measurements, or calculated results to an email list. The calculator frame cannot make network requests. Hosting providers can process ordinary page-request information, such as IP addresses, separately from calculator inputs.
Email signups
When signup is available and you submit a form, we record your email address, selected list, signup time, consent version, and processing status. Your choice covers the type of updates described beside the form. We use this information to provide those updates and manage your preferences. We do not sell your email address.
Security and service providers
The site is hosted using Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Enabled forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical browser and network information to help prevent abuse. Email signup addresses and preferences are stored in the site’s Cloudflare D1 SQL database. New signup data is not sent to a newsletter service. Signup records represent submitted consent; email ownership is not verified. To request a preference change, unsubscribe, or delete your record, email contact@lessofus.com. Records sent to Brevo before this change may still exist there; this change does not delete historical provider records.
Video, community, and shop links
Players and social feeds load only when you choose to open them. Loading a feed or pressing play connects your browser to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. Those platforms may use cookies and process browser information under their own privacy policies. Discord membership, the existing WordPress blog, the merchandise shop, and partner sites are separate services governed by their own policies. Avoid posting health details in community discussions that you do not want other members to see.
Daily check-in
The Daily Check-In stores your selected habits and dates in local storage in your browser. We do not send that history to our server or connect it with email signups. It does not sync between devices. Clear this site’s browser data to remove it.
Cookies and analytics
This redesign does not load advertising pixels or session-replay tracking. Private review access may use platform sign-in cookies. Security services and video playback may use storage or identifiers needed for their functions. We will update this notice before adding optional analytics or marketing tracking.
Retention and your choices
We retain signup details while you remain subscribed or on the selected waitlist, and only as needed afterward to honor opt-outs and legitimate legal or security needs. You can request access, correction, deletion, or removal from a list by emailing contact@lessofus.com. Published emails will include an unsubscribe method. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children and health information
The newsletter and community are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. The calculator is educational and is not a medical service.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, including when new app features or providers are introduced.
